*Philadelphia Flower Show – “This year’s theme is Brilliant!” and I’ll be speaking on Tuesday, March 5 at 10:30 a.m. on English Garden Lessons.

*Northwest Horticultural Society, March 9 – Not just a spring plant sale – but who doesn’t need plants right now? – but also the place to hear Richie Steffen (curator at the Elisabeth C. Miller Botanic Garden), Lorene Edwards Forkner (editor of Pacific Horticulture magazine), and ME talk about our favorite plants at 11:30 a.m.. Center for Urban Horticulture. Sale runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

*Green Bay Botanical Garden, March 23 – It’s the Spring Thaw Symposium, and I’ll be speaking about Landscaping for Privacy.

San Francisco Flower & Garden Show, March 20-24 – If you can’t make it to Green Bay, you might want to head for SF instead.

Garden Lovers’ Book Sale, April 5 and 6 – You will gasp in delight when you see the amazing books and deals you can get at the Elisabeth C. Miller Library’s sale.

*Sky Nursery, April 20 – Landscaping for Privacy. We get up close and personal with the best plants for screens and buffers.

FlorAbundance, April 27-28 – A most exceptional plant sale for the Arboretum Foundation. You’ll find me at the members’ presale drinking wine and telling people what to buy.

*Literary Voices, April 27 – A great evening fundraiser for UW libraries. I’ll be there!

*Bellevue Demo Garden, May 11 – Planting for Privacy at the Master Gardener demo garden.
